Few snaps

Princess

Here is our little princess. She was given this gift by our special extended family, the Callan family. Hayden, Logan, and Claire will not know what to do when their favorite babysitter is not here to watch them or spoil them. I don't know what I will do either. I know they are in good hands with her.

Happy Birthday

Our sweet, precious Claire turned three years old today. It is hard to believe that our baby is three. We were shocked when we found out that we were going to have another child. What a blessing our little Claire is.

Papa

Recently, dad had a little accident. He is very fortunate that he was not hurt worse. He chipped some bones in his ankle. It's hard for strong head man to listen to others. I guess I know where I got my head strong will.

Happy Halloween

The kids were so excited to go trick or treating. Claire was a little hesitant at first going to houses but she learned real quick that she got candy when she went to the door. We went to a local Fall Festival on Wednesday and the kids got candy. Logan and Claire had a party at their babysitter's house on Friday. Hayden had a party at school on Friday as well. We have so much candy that it will last all year long if I can keep Claire out of it. She wants to eat it 24/7.

San Juan

Jason had to go to San Juan, Puerto Rico, to work. I got to go with him for once. It was nice to get away just the two of us. Mom and Dad kept the kids while we were gone. Claire only had one meltdown for her mommy.

Jason and I traveled all around San Juan in a rental car. The traffic made me a nervous wreak. The people over there do not believe in stopping or yielding to the people who have the right away. Everyone over there believes they have the right away.

The highlights of the trip included Old San Juan, the rain forest, and the beautiful beaches. We did get lost a few times and end up in some very bad parts of town. It is not a place where you can walk around late at night.

On Saturday morning, Jason awoke to the bed shaking. He looked at me and thought I was sleeping. He asked me later if I felt the bed shaking that morning. I told him yes but I thought he had a cramp in his leg and he was trying to get the cramp out of his leg. He told me no. We later found out that we had been in our first earthquake. I thought the people were joking when they told us.

The trip was nice but I am glad to be home. The welcome we received back from the kids was great.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

Even though I do not look forward to birthdays anymore, today was a great day. I enjoyed the day with my family. The best part was having my three children sing "Happy Birthday" to me.

Our sweet angels

This picture was taken before we left to go to church. Our children love to go to church. Logan and Claire are learning church songs all the time. Hayden sings in the children's choir. I am so thrilled that they are eager to learn about God. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful church family.

We have moved.

I am not sure what I am doing with this blog. I have wanted to do a blog for awhile but I have no clue how to do one. I guess like most things in life, you learn as you go.

Life has been extremely busy for us. We bought a house in May with the intentions of remodeling it. My entire summer was spent doing manual labor. I have never worked so hard in my life. My parents worked their tails off this summer as well. Words cannot express how much I appreciate them and love them for all that they do for my family. I have the best parents in the world.

Don't let HGTV fool you. It is not as easy or quick as they make it look on TV. I think we would have made several good episodes for them. I hope to be able to post some before and after pictures soon. We moved on Labor Day weekend. The house is still not completely done. Hopefully, it will be completed by Christmas.

The kids are loving the house. It is so much bigger and they can go outside and play without having to worry about them getting ran over.
